We know that RIM not coming out with very well plans in recent weeks, but the company still keeps trying and this does have its benefits, at least sometimes. Their playbook has not been better received by the product markets, but the U.S. government has been testing and apparently meets the requirements necessary for a FIPS 140-2.
This certification means that the tablet meets the security and privacy necessary for the members of any government organization can use this device in their day to day. That is, people who are part of the U.S. government can use the new tablet RIM in their work without any problem.
Surely this speaks volumes about the tablet itself, at least the good work that the company has made security and privacy when designing their new tablet.
